Terms & conditions

Take a look over the text below to ensure you understand the terms and conditions at a Nye Arena Entertainment venue.

CANCELLATION FEE

Guests who wish to leave the experience before 30 minutes of the event has passed will be subject to a $5 cancellation fee, charged to the source of original payment. If a guest wishes to leave after 30 minutes of the event has passed, they will be allowed to do so without a cancellation fee.

Re-Entry

A guest or group that exits the premises without being verified by an executive staff member or trusted worker is assumed to not return to the arena space for the duration of the event. If a guest or group attempts to re-enter the arena while being unverified, they will be asked to leave the premises.

ENTRY

No guest may enter event level without presenting their/their group's unique Quick Response code or valid GAMEDAY PASS to the West Entrance attendant.

cannon zone

Before, during, and after the event, guests may not enter the restricted CANNON FIRING ZONE without the presence and approval of an Executive Staff member. Any guest that enters the CANNON FIRING ZONE during the show will be asked to return to their seats to eliminate danger. If obstructive behavior persists, the Executive Staff will determine the penalty for the guest or group.

SECURITY

Any individual/group that attempts to bypass any Nye Arena security system will be immediately removed from the arena for the duration of the event. Consequences may be adjusted, and ultimately determined,  by the Executive Staff at any time.

Control Room

Please do not disturb the staff during normal operation times. At intermission, the in-arena public address announcer may verbally confirm control room tours, in which case, guests are allowed to walk around the control room. Any guest or group that persistently disturbs the event presentation staff during normal operation times will either be asked to leave event level, or will be asked to leave the premises.

Alcohol Consumption

The possession of outside food and drinks is always permitted, but the consumption of hard liquor is strictly prohibited before, during, or after the event.

Zero Tolerance Policy

At Nye Arena, there is a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY for physical and/or verbal abuse of other guests or staff members. The ZERO TOLERANCE policy is the most heavily-enforced policy at Nye Arena, and consequences for turning against the policy will be significant. The Executive Staff is always responsible for determining if behavior is representative of negativity, and always reserve the right to remove any person from the premises.

 

The following behavior is prohibited under the ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY:

  • Hate speech, especially discriminatory behavior directed at a person's sex, height, weight, age, disability, and sexual orientation

  • Unwelcoming behavior

  • Horseplay and fighting

  • Threatening language

The disrespect and/or abuse of any staff member is most contrary to the ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY, and in which case the guest or group will receive the maximum penalty and will not be allowed to enter Nye Arena again.

Equipment

Guests are prohibited to touch, move, or disrupt any Nye Arena equipment, especially the pneumatic cannon, moving lighting, audio system, and video board displays. Guests in violation of this condition will be warned. If behavior persists, they will be removed from the arena for the duration of the event.

Nye Arena Entertainment is not under affiliation with the NHL, NBA, NFL, MLB, or any other professional or college sports organization, or endorsed by them. Nye Arena Entertainment additionally does not charge general admission to guests in order to abide by the law. Nye Arena may sell promotional tickets and other packages for an enhanced experience, but does not obtain money for relaying television streams to the guests, and hereby is in accordance with the policies of the National Hockey League and all other professional sports contests.
